Celebrate and cheer on your favourites as we await the winner announcement for the Scotiabank Giller Prize 2018, the most prestigious literary award in Canada. This is the award’s 25th anniversary, and we have some incredible titles on the contenders list:

I had the pleasure of attending it last year and had a blast cheering for my favourite authors surrounded by fellow book lovers. This is THE must-attend party for the Canadian publishing industry, where professionals and readers have a chance to enjoy a live stream of the award ceremony while meeting new faces in the industry, talking about books and enjoying the music.

The food is delicious, the drinks are plentiful and the dance floor was LIT! I definitely remember dancing to Spice Girls at one point…

Last year guests could enter raffle tickets for a variety of prizes, including eReaders, professional advice from leaders in the industry (I remember seeing some CEO names in there!), spa vouchers, chocolates, gift cards to a wide variety of retailers, and tons and tons of books, including the entire stack of shortlisted titles!

The event takes place in seven cities across Canada, but today I’m here to give YOU a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Toronto Light Bash 2018!

Check out the Rafflecopter submission form and enter for as many ballots as you can! Tweeting about the giveaway gives you 2 ballots instead of just one. Giveaway runs from October 12th to November 5th!

Thank you to the Giller Light Bash committee for allowing me to present this giveaway!

Keep up with the event on the GLB’s Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

Tickets for the event can also be purchased HERE.
